Known as one of the wine world’s greatest growing regions, the Barossa is brimming with vineyards that produce an average of 52,082 tonnes of wine each year. Enough to fill 21 Olympic-sized swimming pools. And it’s swimming in an abundance of fresh produce too, from cheese and charcuterie to seasonal fruits and vegetables bursting with flavour. It’s no wonder we chose this region for our first fine dining experience of 2024, Taste of The Barossa. This one-of-a-kind, never-to-be-forgotten fine dining experience will highlight the best of the region’s flavours from local producers and farmers, all impeccably matched with incredible wines from Yalumba. And the cherry on the top (or two to be precise) is having top chefs Jake Kellie and Joel Cugley prepare a delicious four-course meal at Kingsford The Barossa.

Orleana Restaurant
Located in one of Australia’s finest exclusive retreats, Orleana Restaurant serves up a delicious seven-course degustation transporting you through the rich 167-year history of Kingsford The Barossa. Or you can opt for the à la carte menu, which continues the theme of diverse, fresh and seasonal ingredients harvested onsite and locally sourced from Barossa growers and artisan producers.
Executive chef Joel and his talented team have created an outstanding menu that showcases the most striking fresh flavours of the Barossa, and we’re thrilled to have Joel pouring his expertise into curating a one-off entrée and dessert menu for our Taste of The Barossa fine dining experience.
St. Hugo Restaurant
St. Hugo has received the coveted Australia Food Guide Chefs Hat Award twice, and it’s no surprise. Paying tribute to its founding winemaking legend Hugo Gramp, executive chef Simon Hicks has creatively curated a lunch menu to perfectly compliment St Hugo’s powerful and elegant wines. Head over to the exquisite dining room overlooking the vineyard and ask the staff for their seasonal wine pairing recommendations. Be sure to order the lamb. You won’t regret it!
